How much space do I need for the loop field?
Typical footprint is about 100 ft by 50 ft for a horizontal loop field. A vertical closed-loop needs just the footprint for drilling. We'll assess your property during the free quote.
Will digging up my yard damage landscaping?
Trenching is minimal — usually at the perimeter or in areas that can be easily restored. We work with you to minimize disruption.
What's the maintenance requirement?
Very little. The ground loop is sealed and buried, so it requires no maintenance. The heat pump needs the standard annual tune-up like any HVAC system.
Do you service geothermal systems you didn't install?
